Improved

I feel like since the beginning of the year I improved a lot and learned so much like composition, depth, and how to edit different types of pictures. Most of my pictures were snaps shots and mostly eye level but now i'm starting to use the different methods we learned like rule of thirds. Overall, my skills in taking pictures improved for the better.

Black light Reflection

T he best shot of this assignment is the side profile one because it shows a good angle. The weakest shot was when i took the first type of pictures with bad lighting. The weakest shot can be improved by having better lighting. I used levels and exposure in Photoshop. I was able to met the goal of the   project because I  learned how to correctly set manual cameras to accommodate shooting portraiture under black lights with florescence. The easy part was making designs with the face paint because it made taking the pictures easier. The difficult part was editing the pictures because it turned really grainy on some pictures. I would do different designs and different angles. I would rate myself a 10 because i took good pictures overall and edited them good.

Reflection

My best shot was the split shot lighting.I liked the way it showed both colors nicely. The weakest shot was my butterfly sot because i feel it could've been better. It can be improved by taking a better shot showing a better shadow under the nose. I used levels, brightness, and vibrance in Photoshop. I was able to meet the EQ by switching the lighting positioning of the camera. The easy part was editing because i knew what part to edit. The difficult part was taking the pictures because it was hard trying to tell the difference. I would use a better lighting. I would give myself a 9 because i tried my hardest and took some good pics.

The best shot is the second picture because of the angle and lighting i took the picture in. My weakest shot was mostly in my contact sheet because i had poor angles. The weakest image can be improved by using a better lighting technique and a better angle. I use Photoshop and i used levels, brightness, contrast, and different colors. I was able to met the goal by changing the picture into different tones and shades. The easy part was editing. The difficult part was taking the actual pictures and choosing which ones to use. If i do this assignment again i would choose different poses and design in color. I would give myself a 9 because my pictures were average and i put a lot of effort in it.
